Raising Kids in a Sexually Broken World Conference
September 26 - September 27

Our kids are sexual beings whether we like it or not. And the world is ready to disciple them in a worldly approach to sex and gender.
Research tells us that 28% of Gen Z identifies as LGBTQ, that 1 in 4 girls and 1 in 10 boys will experience unwanted sexual contact before they turn 18, and that 1 in 5 kids see pornography by the time they are 10 years old and the majority will see it by the time they are 17.
How can parents not just react to these realities but lay gospel foundations before our kids encounter the brokenness of the world? How can we give our kids the tools they need to choose the way of Jesus no matter what?
This conference will help Christian parents, caregivers, and pastors equip the next generation to engage a sexually broken world with wisdom. Our host is Laurie Krieg, a mom of three young kids and author, teacher, and ministry leader at the intersection of faith and sexuality for over ten years.. She’ll be joined by her husband Matt, an author and licensed therapist who specializes in human sexuality.
The primary audience of this conference is parents and caregivers of kids ages 0-13, but many of the principles will also apply to parents and caregivers of older kids. Topics covered include: How do I help my kids know and love God’s design for marriage and singleness? How do I talk about pornography without scaring or scarring them? What does it mean to be a boy or a girl–and how do I teach that well? Is there a “right” way to educate my kids? How do I talk about sex in a gospel-centered, non-awkward way?
The answers to these questions are given in foundational language: We learn the foundational truth of each topic and then talk about how to walk it out with the next generation.
